Our house was always the hang out in Shadyside. Austin’s boys sleeping on the couches, floors, occasionally under a table or two. I would monitor music noise and food consumption the best I could.
There were many boys I considered my younger brothers, one of them being Alex Quinn. I still remember in 6th grade I got punched by a boy on the playground playing football and Alex, while eating a pencil, ran over and helped me.
