CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is mourning the loss of soccer student-athlete Ally Sidloski (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville), who tragically passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was 21 years old.Sidloski had recently completed her sophomore soccer season. She did not play during the 2020 season, which took place during the spring of 2021, due to injury.
We’re deeply saddened to lose one of our own. Ally grew up playing in our programs and we couldn’t think of a better representation of our community and organization than Ally. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sidloski family, friends, and her teammates, past & present. #weplayfor3
The pain that I’m feeling right now is unbearable. My soulmate, my lover, my client, my best friend. I can’t believe this. Ally was the most loving happiest funniest girl I knew. I will cherish our friendship forever. I never knew the last time I saw you would be the last time I saw you forever, and had I’d known that ally, I would’ve squeezed you so tight and told you how much I freaking love you and appreciate you over and over again!!!!!! Even though life was cut far too short, I was still lucky enough to have had a loyal friend who taught me that quality is more important than quantity. You were more than a best friend to me, you were my role model. I looked up to you in so many ways. You always knew how to make everyone around you laugh. Ally, my sweet angel I miss you so much.
