Sherry has been a long time friend. Sherry and I go back to childhood when we were competing against each other Sherry for Levelland and I for Crenshaw Athletic Club back in the early years of gymnastics in Texas when there were only about 10 clubs in the whole state. We then went off to college. Our paths crossed many years later in 2000 as coachs in trampoline competitions. We had mutual compassion in trampoline and tumbling. She had been coaching trampoline where as I had been doing artistic gymnastcs because trampoline was not popular here. She helped me in many ways answering questions etc. I met her son Will Green who had grown up doing trampoline and was now coaching in their gym, Acro Spirits . I watched their athletes, asked quetions,took athletes to clinics and continued to learn from her. My athletes held a great respect for Sherry and Will Patti Swenson. She treated my kids as an extension of her kids. She was a wonderful person. Sherry travelled all over world and had multiple athletes make the National Team. Sherry was a great coach and held God on High. The world lost a wonderful person. Amen
